As she sits against the door as he walks away she realizes that he is the best thing that has ever happened to her. He was everything she ever dreamed and their love was so strong that the thickest thing couldn’t come between. And try to tear their love apart, she sat there, cried and thought about the days he made her smile or the days that they chose baby names for their make believe child. She knew she would do nothing to hurt him but couldn’t make that promise. He never swore, always loved and was completely honest. She couldn’t fight the tears that fell on her face or the ache in her heart that she couldn’t erase. She made her bed which consisted of lies and now she is left with a complete stranger that she despises and a kid within her that is his. But she wants it to be HIS... not that one, but the one that she loved. The one she cheated on the one that never abused her. The one that never touched her in a way she didn’t like. The one who comforted her though the sleepless nights. The one who held her and told her it would be alright and he would be there forever, and never leave her sight. Until the end of time. But she assumes her time is up because he is walking out of the door. She says silently I want you back, I need you more than ever before. But he couldn’t hear her silent words through the black cold door. The door that resembled his heart. The door that would forever separate them, that would forever keep them apart. Him sitting on the other side, sitting Indian style asking the lord why. His tears ran longer than the limitless shore, he pounded his heavy fist on the door and fell back as he remincied kissing her sweet lips that resembled a Hershey’s kiss. No other woman in the world could ever replace her. The world’s biggest eraser couldn't erase her. A good man affected, rejected and disrespected all because he LOST his LOVE to LUST.

I'm Ready
My heart longs for love
But love doesn’t love me
I look around for it
But some one told me that love loves nobody
That is hard to believe
When people conceive
Precious children
Even Adam and Eve
Despite the tree
Know what it is to love
So I ask myself Why not me
As I look for love beyond the birds and the bees
The sweet smell of honeysuckle and nectarines
Is what I envision love to taste like
The feel I imagine to be as real as satin
Sweeter than sugar; Spicer than the Latin
Flavor that I adore.
I promise if love showed up on my front door
I will love Love like love never loved before

Complex Girl
Only if you knew what I’ve been through
You would know how to respond
To a woman that is scorned
Scorned by all the things said and done
You wouldn’t run
But instead console me
Hold me
And tell me that I am your one and only
Travel with me back into time
Where thoughts and feelings are intertwined
With emotions and notions to do what feels right
The thoughts that I think will never take flight
Into the night, but I’m metaphorically speaking
As I sit and think about the thoughts that I previously were thinking.
You call me complex
but yet my beauty has you vexed
You’d rather have some one of less intellect
Whose body reminds you of a girl on a video set
Instead of the girl with the scar on her neck
Which is the same girl that you cant understand
The same complex girl that can change your mindset from a boy to a man
The same complex girl that would not have your back
But instead hold your hand
But she is too complex and you are too young for “stress”
So in the words of Jay Z you pride fully say “On To The Next”

Hidden Lust
Why must we continue
To act as we don’t
Look we must, touch we won’t
Its hard to kiss you and not go on
To look in your eyes
The feeling is so strong
I believe its love
But you spell lust
Kiss on your neck, I have to, I must
What I think is passion, love and desire
Its nothing but lust dressed in all black attire
Looking at you sincerely
I am compelled to touch
Trying to hide this thing called lust
I am tempted to do something
I will immediately regret
At this moment willing to lose moral and respect
All this is due to lust
But my flesh is trying to hide and keep in
What my spirit is trying to push out
Everyone lusts and not one person is perfect no doubt
